ACCESSIBILITY
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating options including wheelchair bays and easy access seating are available to purchase for each session via the following link; European Athletics Championships Birmingham 2026.
On each session page, look for the accessible tickets button in the yellow box, which will give you the option to select accessible ticket types.
Wheelchair Bay seating is available for wheelchair or mobility scooter users who wish to remain in their chair during a session.
Easy Access Seating is typically up or down one or two steps; easy access seating is available for those with an accessible requirement who are not wheelchair users. Easy Access tickets are available for ambulant disabled spectators and spectators with a visual or hearing impairment.

PA / Companion tickets
Complimentary PA / Companion tickets are available for those who require them and can be added to your order when booking.
To add to your order please select the accessible ticket type you wish to purchase, and select two seats next to each other.
The first seat will appear as your accessible seat, the second will appear as a PA / companion seat.
Accessible and Changing Places Toilets
Accessible toilets are available in all stands, across the venue.
A Changing Places toilet, which is a facility with changing bed, hoist, toilet, and sink, is available on the main concourse of the West Stand.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance Dogs are welcome at Alexader Stadium.
Toileting facilities for Assistance Dogs will be available, please see the venue map for details, or speak to one of our friendly volunteers when you arrive.
Accessible Shuttle Service
An accessible shuttle service will be available to help reduce the distance to walk or wheel across the venue.
The shuttle service does not need to be booked in advance, and will run before, during and after each session.
Shuttle routes, timings and stop information will be available closer to the event.
Food and Drink
Various food and drink options will be available at the stadium.
However please be advised that a limited amount of food or drink for personal consumption will be permitted into the venue.
For drinks, one full, sealed, plastic beverage container, or an empty resealable plastic container not exceeding 1 litre in volume will be permitted.
Hearing / Induction Loops
Hearing / induction loops will be available at Information Points and the Ticket Office.
Medicines
Medicines are permitted. We ask that anything you bring is medically prescribed in a quantity for individual personal use, commercially packaged, and labelled with contents.
Portable oxygen cylinders are permitted for medical use only.
If you have a medical condition that requires you to bring in items which contravenes our bag and restricted items policy, please provide the details via the link below to allow us to inform our safety and stewarding teams.
Wheelchair Charging
Wheelchair charging, and charging for any other medical device, will be available at our Information Points.
Wheelchair Hire
Wheelchairs will be available to hire, to assist spectators to and from their seats. If you require wheelchair assistance, please approach one of our volunteers on your arrival.
Accessible Travel
A range of accessible travel options to Alexander Stadium will be available.

Blue Badge Parking must be booked in advance, and is available on a first come, first served basis.

Blue badge parking is located approximately 300m from the south stand of the stadium.
